The natural cycle is a simple method of in vitro fertilization, which is performed during the patients’ natural cycle. Occasionally, it will be possible to perform a slight ovarian stimulation in order to obtain 1 - 2 eggs, which will be fertilized in the laboratory.
The embryo culture in a laboratory implies a constant surveillance and control of multiple parameters; for this reason in vitro fertilization greatly depends on the quality of the laboratory as well as on the applied assisted reproduction techniques.
Pregnancy rates up to 40%*
- With sperm from partner.
- With donor sperm.
Spain has one of the most progressive laws on assisted reproduction worldwide. Both sperm and egg donation are legal and anonymous. In addition, Spanish law provides that children born by means of assisted reproduction techniques shall not be able to obtain information regarding the donor - similarly, the donor shall not be able to obtain information, such as the identity of the conceived child.
Spanish law also provides the study and acceptance of donors by establishing the necessary tests; however, at IVF-Spain we go further the required test, which ultimately allows us to utilise both eggs and sperm with the highest assurance of security.
